Not true, Ian Khama never went quiet until he saw to it that his handpicked successor lost an election which resulted in a party that his father had founded lose power!!

Even if the plan b fails, there needs to be plan c. Bottom line is don’t give up. Something may look insurmountable, but go for it and mount it.

What does is ECLs persistence in the political arena telling us of his true intent? When he jumped in, he stated that he wanted to right the wrong he percieved UPND had done by creating a PF faction. However we have seen that infighting culture is a PF thing, with futther factions being created.
One thing I see as a common thread in character is that Mr. Lungu like to make you sit at the edge of your seat, anticipating his next move…with is void of substance but selfserving

I have often admired former Presidents in the country and the continent but two for the quiet demeaner they took after office. The two I refer are Kenyatta and Ian Khama (but in personal opinion am content with what led to their disquiet). In our case, Lungu and his assertion is just being cantakerous. Is he hoping to buy his pardon? Or get a lofty position that would give him immunity? What does that say about those that parot for him, egging him on. Those that seemingly want to jump into “bed with him?” When in office will they sweep aside all that we asked for and UPND has done right? The cadres, the markets, the plots…etc.

Lungu may well have been ban from standing, but seeks to cause confusion in the country out of slight.
