But here we are; merely watching these lakes and exposing our very severe lack of entrepreneurship and initiative. Government! I have not gotten any reason why we should not have more water in that natural lake. At the same time I ve not gotten any tangeable formula to reduce the water level in that natural lake. As for risks of anticipated flooding, I thought the minister could talk of relocating of settlements

Only genuine commitment can achieve this… right now the priority by government is to fund rebellion in the opposition camps. What they don’t realize is that they can win the election by delivering services…. those they fund to destabilize their camps will lose the election along with Upnd.

What Deja Vu says isnt a joke. Practical people like Gaddafi did move water from a distant source to a desert. That desert was turned into farmland.
Zambia should be the last country to suffer the effects of drought when it has so many water bodies.

What you say isnt a joke. Practical people like Gaddafi did move water from a distant source to a desert. That desert was turned into farmland. Zambia should be the last country to suffer the effects of drought when it has so many water bodies. And like Doug above says tourism would reap gold from lakes Tanganyika, Mweru, Bangweulu. But here we are watching these lakes very severely lacking entrepreneurship. Government awaken the citizens by supporting them with loans and other facilities!
