It is clear that the author is not an an energy professional but a patriotic Zambian. Lets us not mix politics with energy policy. The last time I checked my grand mother was suggesting a canal from Chembe River to Kafue River! Zambians will listen to everyone except energy professionals. In Energy Indaba needs to be held so that we can pool our energy resources and come up with a sustainable Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). Zambia has a lot of energy professionals locally and in the diaspora. The issue we have is that politicians are interested in making money from energy projects! The current situation actually suits them as they are supply diesel and other emergency solutions

This is what we need to hear from politicians. Offering practical solutions to real challenges.

On a personal level, Sean finish constructing your logde so that you increase occupancy and create more jobs for the youth. Devote more time to the lodge and you will coincidentally increase revenue. Keep politics on the sidelines and believe you me, one year from now your finances will improve tremendously.

Enjoy your day as you think of other developmental ideas to share with the Zambian people.

May God richly bless you Sean!

Definitely the impetus must come from within Zambia. Indeed though, accept help and strategic managment from overseas investors, the UN etc. However the reins of control must remain in the hand of Zambian leadership, and the benefits must go to the people of Zambia, not just in day to day living conditions but in infrastructure development, schools, hospitals, universities and decent public transport. The big question is, are there men and women in Zambia who can be politicians of vision, integrity and the intelligence to provide strategic managment? I pray so, as such leaders will be necesary to fulfil the hopes and dreams of all zambians!

You mean he has drained the Kariba dam of water or caused the climate change?

Whips and bridles are tools used to train and control animals. If donkeys and horses were rational, and could be talked to, no such measures would be necessary. The point here is not so much about the best way to train livestock. Instead, the meaning is that unreasoning animals receive brute-force corrections. The “fool,” meaning a person who ignores godly wisdom (Proverbs 1:7), is unlikely to respond to reason and will suffer as a result (2 Peter 2:12; Jude 1:10). Lessons the wise learn by listening, the God-defying person absorbs only through consequences (Proverbs 14:3; 19:29).

To define our tomorrow we have to change the way we think TO DAY. Complaining will never earn us a dime.

There is just no evidence of a strategic planning mindset in him. Then everything else will fall into place one-by-one.
