Zambia is a christian nation, the bible doesn’t allow incense, bleeding between different species. The reason we have refused so that we don’t sin as a country

GM like don’t dispute your well researched paper. But how many children are dying of hunger due to lack of food. GM food can contribute to improve that quality of life and live longer that 1 year. GM crops are not the only cancer they are many factors.

They will not poison Zambia or Zambians! There is enough medical evidence stating tumour growths, kidney failure, infertility etc can be directly tied to consumption of GM crops and cancers increasing due to chemicals they use.
There’s also enough evidence that proves GM crops do NOT produce as much as organic crops. Monsanto pushed BT maize in Africa because it was a failed banned product in other countries. Maize is our staple diet.
Hunger in Africa has been tied directly to mismanagement of resources by government and food speculation by corporations not because we can’t grow crops in Africa without GMO. Please people do the research for yourselves and don’t buy the media manipulation that is designed to publish lies by these entities…

GMO are helping a lot in to reduce food shortage in the world. There is no proven fears that we should stop eating. The goods coming in our international shops have gmo foods . We need any effort that will increase the food capacity ando overcome poverty.

We need more leaders like him who are not afraid to take the bull by the horns and defend the peoples’ choice: 100% natural food grown in Zambia. Only the sun is enough to grow our tomatoes, maize, beans, groundnuts.. etc.

Other countries have extreme weather conditions that disrupt their eco-balance and therefore have to resort to genetically modified seeds to guarantee food security. Let them face the consequences of consuming GMO food but since we don’t have a weather problem, we prefer to stay in tune with nature.
