@GoGaG… I remember in our mine townships we had one public toilet and shower block…a population of more than five hundred individuals… never had anytime was this building found in an unhygienic state. It had water running 24/7 and cleaners were busy making sure any misplaced faecal matter was transferred to the proper channel. After independence we abandoned this cleanness…yes because we’re free now to do whatever we wanted.

Its too much work. Providing refuse bins and trucks to clean up garbage-loving Lusaka. Building proper drainages in shanty infested Lusaka. Ensuring rainwater flows out of the many ditches in residential areas, providing toilets to replace latrines in shanty infested Lusaka Gee! All this!! Its too much work. Citizens dont vote us in to do such work. They elect us to enjoy ourselves in air conditioned offices, luxury jets and huge limousines

LT should stop spreading lies. Thats why they are being asked to establish their own newsroom. Zambia is not the first African country to produce cholera vaccines or drugs. Algeria, Egypt, and South Africa do produce vaccines called Shanchol and Euvichol which are endorsed by WHO. My brother in-law is one of the paramedics working on the Algeria project.
Amongst the countries using these vaccines are Malawi, Cameroon, DRC, Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, and Uganda.

It means the UPND have acknowledged that people should ingest faecal matter. Instead of cleaning up the townships and providing clean drinking water they have chosen to join hands with the Chinese to make money out of this unfortunate situation arising from unkempt surroundings.
